About The Firdale

The Firdale is a single, privately owned house on Firdale Road in Sea Point, Cape Town. It is not an agency listing, a serviced apartment block or part of a chain. One family owns the house, furnished it room by room, and manages every stay directly, which is why the same person answers a question about the hot tub, the parking or a late arrival.

The house sleeps four across two bedrooms, with a king en-suite upstairs and a queen below, two and a half bathrooms, an open-plan living area with Atlantic views, a private hot tub on the deck, a built-in braai, a fully equipped kitchen and two desks on fibre wifi. Backup power keeps the wifi and some lighting running through outages, and a monitored alarm covers the house when it is empty. The Sea Point Promenade is a two-minute walk away.

Guests book through Booking.com, Airbnb or Cinnamon Toast, and each platform handles payment, confirmation and its own guest protections. This website carries no booking engine and takes no payments. Its job is to show the house honestly, publish the practical detail before you commit, and hand you to the platform you already trust.

Every photograph on the site was taken in this house, in natural light, with nothing staged in from elsewhere. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out by 10:00, with a maximum of four guests. Pets and smoking are not permitted. The house is also currently for sale, and offers can be registered through the Own it page.
